Disclaimer
ODAILY wants you to cook with more confidence and less waste. To do that responsibly, we are clear about what a cooking guide can and cannot do.
General information
Our guides describe methods that work in most home kitchens. They cannot know your oven, your altitude, your ingredients or the people you are cooking for. Quantities, times and temperatures are tested guidelines that you should adapt.
Food safety
Safe cooking depends on handling food correctly: washing hands, keeping raw meat apart from ready-to-eat food, cooling leftovers quickly, reheating thoroughly and cooking meat, poultry, fish and eggs to safe internal temperatures. We include these points where they matter, but the official guidance of your national food safety agency always takes precedence.
Allergies and special diets
ODAILY is not a source of medical or dietary advice. If you or someone you cook for has a food allergy, coeliac disease, diabetes, kidney disease, is pregnant or is caring for a baby, check every ingredient label and follow the advice of a doctor or registered dietitian. Products and recipes can contain hidden allergens.
Equipment and safety
Knives, hot oil, pressure cookers and ovens can cause injuries. Follow the manufacturer's instructions for your appliances, never leave hot oil unattended and keep children away from hot surfaces.
Liability
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss or damage arising from the use of information on this site. This does not limit liability that cannot be excluded by law.
