ODAILY Our Daily table – home cooking, explained

Cookie policy

A cookie is a small text file that a website or a third party saves in your browser. This page explains which cookies may appear while you read ODAILY and how to control them.

What ODAILY stores itself

ODAILY does not set its own cookies. Our page counts work without them. The only thing the site keeps in your browser is a short note in session storage that the little shower of red and gold sprinkles, our salute to Spain's 2026 World Cup title, has already played, so it does not repeat on every page. That note disappears when you close the browser tab.

Cookies from third parties

Google AdSense. The advertising on ODAILY is served by Google. Google and its partners may use cookies and similar technologies, such as device identifiers, to:

  • deliver ads and limit how often you see the same one;
  • measure whether ads were viewed or clicked;
  • personalise ads based on your visits to this and other sites, if you allow it;
  • protect against fraud.

Where consent is required, Google's consent message lets you choose before cookies are used for personalisation. You can change that choice later through the privacy link in the message, in Google Ads Settings or via www.aboutads.info.

Google Fonts and Cloudflare receive technical data such as your IP address in order to deliver fonts and pages. We do not use them to track you.

How to control cookies

All modern browsers let you view, block and delete cookies in their privacy settings. If you block third-party cookies, ODAILY still works; you will simply see less personalised advertising.
